Stewards spoke to Mr Adam Wilcock, the trainer of Ultimate Amadeus, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ultimate Amadeus last raced on 12 March 2018. Mr Wilcock stated that the greyhound was resuming following a change of kennel.

Janray Warrior, Mel's Footsteps and Octo Flash collided soon after the start, checking Mel's Footsteps. Dee Jakit, Janray Spot and Janray Warrior collided at the 250m mark, checking Janray Spot. Janray Warrior checked off Ultimate Amadeus at the 150m mark. Janray Spot, Janray Warrior and Ultimate Amadeus collided approaching the winning post, checking Janray Spot.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Campbell, the kennel representative for the greyhound Wackadooka, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Wackadooka last raced on 14 March 2018. Mr Campbell stated that the greyhound was resuming from a right thigh injury.

Mr Dylan Cortese was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/card were produced for the greyhound Red Queen, pursuant to GAR33.

Hawkie went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Cousin's Choice and Regal Memphis were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.

Hawkie and Cousin's Choice collided soon after the start. Regal Memphis, Wackadooka and Gypsy Kiowa collided at the 250m mark. Wackadooka and Gypsy Kiowa collided at the 200m mark, checking Gypsy Kiowa. Regal Memphis crossed to the outside approaching the 150m mark, checking Wackadooka. Lost Horizon and Grey Magic collided at the 150m mark and again approaching the 50m mark.

Gypsy Kiowa was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Ms M Boyle, the kennel representative for Major Nippa, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Major Nippa last raced on 29 December 2018. Ms Boyle stated that Major Nippa was resuming from a left back muscle injury.

Fiery Nell was quick to begin.

Major Nippa crossed to the outside at the 200m mark, checking Royal Knocka, Molly Walker, Acey Boy and Blue Squirrel.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Miss Walt, engaged in this event, on 12 June 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Maxworthy; a post-race sample was subsequently collected from the greyhound which placed second in the event.

Triceps Brachii was quick to begin. But What For and Big Tilly were slow to begin.

But What For faltered at the 300m mark and tailed off. Senor Ollie eased and failed to pursue the lure with due commitment at the 200m mark, collided with Triceps Brachii which was checked as a result. Senor Ollie and Triceps Brachii collided several times from the 200m mark to the winning post.

News Print was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.

But What For was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right long head triceps (monkey) muscle. A 21-day stand down period was imposed.

It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and general cervico-thoracic area, a 14-day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Senor Ollie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Wilcock pleaded guilty to the charge, Senor Ollie was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr Tony Cortese was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/card were produced for the greyhound Just Blacky, pursuant to GAR 33.

Lilrigg was slow to begin.

Wolfie's Sook, Just Teefa, Just Blacky and Rattle Gate collided soon after the start. Mallard and Dane Daisy collided at the 300m mark. Rattle Gate, Just Blacky, Just Teefa, Wolfie's Sook and Dane Daisy collided at the 200m mark, severely checking Dane Daisy. Just Blacky and Rattle Gate collided from the 200m mark to approaching the 150m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dynamite Dozer.

Dynamite Dozer and Totally Fab collided soon after the start. Fifty Dollar, Shadow Walker and Totally Fab collided at the 300m mark. Shadow Walker galloped on Fifty Dollar at the 200m mark, checking Fifty Dollar, Shadow Walker and Totally Fab. Fifty Dollar checked off Dynamite Dozer at the 150m mark.

Daintree Prinz and Azure Dragon were slow to begin.

Courage Crest and Rapid Rock collided at the 250m mark. Becket and Azure Dragon collided at the 200m mark and again at the 150m mark, checking Becket. Courage Crest and Rapid Rock collided at the 150m mark. Hard Boiled checked off Courage Crest at the 50m mark.
