Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr B.Jones, the trainer of Marking Bad regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Marking Bad last raced on 11 February, 2018. Mr Jones stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.
Hot Cruiser was slow to begin. Avatar Blaze, Savannah Icon and Coopes collided soon after the start checking Coopes. Vivian Shiraz and Keely Run collided on the first turn. Coopes, Savannah Icon, Hot Cruiser and Uncle Bump collided on the first turn checking Coopes and Hot Cruiser. Vivian Shiraz, Avatar Blaze and Marking Bad collided approaching the home turn checking Avatar Blaze which stumbled and lost ground. Savannah Icon and Marking Bad collided on the home turn. Coopes raced wide in the home straight. Uncle Bump and Savannah Icon collided in the home straight.
Avatar Blaze was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
