Steward's Report

A pre-race sample was taken from Kalani Hagen.

Blue Espearance and King Of Merrimu were slow to begin. Nicky Jo was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Cruisy's Patch and Antarctic Lass collided approaching the first turn checking Antarctic Lass. Blue Espearance galloped on Tyson's A Rebel on the first turn severely checking Kalani Hagen which faltered and pulled up as a result.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of King Of Merrimu became dislodged during the event.

Kalani Hagen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock injury, and was humanely euthanased.
