Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms Susan Abela, the trainer of My Guardian regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. My Guardian last raced on 21 January 2018 and is returning after a spell.
Mr. Swan was a late scratching at 2.03pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to dehydration. A 7 day stand down period was imposed
Samba King was slow to begin. Piccolo Princess checked off Fiery Nell at the 200m mark, checking My Guardman and Samba King. Samba King checked off My Guardman at the 175m mark.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mrs Jodie Elliot, the trainer of Meehan Rosie regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Meehan Rosie last raced on 28 September 2017 and is returning after being on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Meehan Rosie trialled over the 300m from box 3, weight 26.8, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of four. The time of the trial was 17.04, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1 3/4 lengths. Meehan Rosie was cleared.
