Ebony Deglaitis, trainer of Cruising Stella declared a new weight of 29.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cruising Stella last raced at 27.3kg and has changed kennels.
A pre-race sample was taken from Crackerjack Dave.
Myrrdon stumbled at box rise and lost ground as a result.
Maximum Bliss crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Cruising Stella, Crackerjack Dave and Ben's Talon. Lorian Victory checked off Moonbeam approaching the first turn. Ben's Talon, Moonbeam and Crackerjack Dave collided on the first turn checking Ben's Talon and Crackerjack Dave. Crackerjack Dave crossed out approaching the home turn checking Lorian Victory. Crackerjack Dave and Lorian Victory collided on the home turn checking Lorian Victory. Gin Lee's Pride galloped on Maximum Bliss entering the home straight causing Gin Lee's Pride to stumble and lose ground.
Gin Lee's Pride was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right stopper, no stand down period was imposed.
