Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Trainer, Ms Christine Haigh, regarding the nomination of Lucinda in this event given that the greyhound has not raced competitively since 16 March, 2017 having succesfully cleared a satisfactory trial on 7 May, 2018. Ms Haigh stated that the greyhound was returning to racing due to a change of kennel following an extended spell due to the previous owner suffering from an illness.
Dreamliner, Our Rocket, Bombora Rocket and Perfect Chase collided soon after the start. Dreamliner, Bombora Rocket and Perfect Chase collided approaching the 300m mark. Lucinda crossed to the rail approaching the 300m mark, causing Lucinda, Harvey Warbanger and Smash Williams to collide several times until the 150m mark, checking all three greyhounds. Smash Williams and Harvey Warbanger collided at the 150m amrk. Smash Williams checked off Lucinda at the 150m mark. Dreamliner and Perfect Chase collided approaching the 100m mark.
