Aston Halle and Scarlet Magic were slow to begin.  Mother Monster crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking What's Up Skip, Aston Halle, Ninetymile Hawk and Scarlet Magic.  Ninetymile Hawk, Scarlet Magic and Aston Halle collided on the first turn, checking Aston Halle.  Mother Monster checked off the heels of Margolis on the first turn, severely checking Mother Monster which stumbled as a result and lost ground.  Ebb crossed to the ouside in the back straight, checking Mother Monster and Ninetymile Hawk.  Ebb and Mother Monster collided on the second turn, checking Mother Monster.  Ebb and Ninetymile Hawk collided approaching the home turn, checking Ebb.  Aston Halle raced wide in the home straight.

Mother Monster was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg pad/webbing injury, a three day stand down period was imposed.
