Unique Honour and Olivia's Pearl collided soon after the start checking Olivia's Pearl. Isla Maye and Just Over collided approaching the first turn. Traveller's Lady and Mrs. Hardwicke collided approaching the first turn checking Mrs. Hardwicke. Olivia's Pearl, Traveller's Lady and Mrs. Hardwicke collided on the first turn checking Olivia's Pearl. Hello Beryl collided with Unique Honour on the home turn. Hello Beryl raced wide entering the home straight. 

Hello Beryl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and right groin. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. D. Hammerstein of Hello Beryl regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. Mr. Hammerstein stated that the greyhound prefers to race wide and has done so in all it's previous three starts. Stewards noted Mr. Hammerstein's explanation and took no further action.
