Louie Allen and Menzali collided soon after the start checking Menzali. Dyna Uni crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Ninetymile Turbo, Dyna Uni, Louie Allen and Menzali collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Ninetymile Turbo contacted the running rail approaching the second turn. Adam Mandam eased approaching the third turn. Zipping Zoe galloped on the heels of Adam Mandam on the third turn checking Adam Mandam which faltered and tailed off.

Ninetymile Turbo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Crawford, the trainer of the greyhound Adam Mandam regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the third turn.  Adam Mandam was vetted and re-vetted following race 6.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a sprain to the right wrist and right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Adam Mandam with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Crawford pleaded guilty to the charge, Adam Mandam was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
