Rock It Ronny and Shannah's Gift collided soon after the start. Finty Allen, Possibly and Crump's Princess collided soon after the start. Cruising Suzie checked off She's Wicked on the first turn. Possibly crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Fonty Allen and Crump's Princess. Shannah's Gift checked off Rock It Ronny approaching the home turn. Fonty Allen and Possibly collided on the home turn. Cruising Suzie cramped approaching the winning post and lost ground.
Cruising Suzie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound severely cramped, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Delbridge, representative of the greyhound Cruising Suzie. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted
