Pursuant to GAR 104 (6), catching pen scanner Mr Ryan Johnson did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Jaggered Stone was slow to begin.
Jaggered Stone crossed to the outside soon after the start. Jaggered Stone checked off Wolf Point at the 300m mark. Steel Magnetic and Semantic Shift collided approaching the 250m mark. Cozi Fitz and Steel Magnetic collided at the 250m mark. Steel Magnetic and Semantic Shift collided at the 150m mark. Macauliff eased approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr Ray Keating, the kennel representative for the greyhound Macauliff, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Macauliff was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left quadriceps muscle, a seven-day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Macauliff with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Keating pleaded guilty to the charge, Macauliff was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
