Steward's Report
Gypsy Kiowa was quick to begin. Angie was slow to begin. Rare Gem checked off Kloss soon after the start. Rare Gem, Power Gem, Captain Jackie and Gypsy Kiowa collided on the first turn checking Gypsy Kiowa. Bags Of Bucks and Gypsy Kiowa collided approaching the home turn. Rare Gem, Power Gem and Captain Jackie collided approaching the home turn checking Power Gem. Rare Gem and Power Gem collided entering the home straight.
A sample was taken from Kloss - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Kennel Attendant, Mr. Brayden Crawley after the incorrect greyhound was retrieved from it's kennel in this event. Mr. Crawley was issued a warning and the matter was referred on to the Club Manager for further consideration.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Lindrea after the incorrect greyhound was retrieved from it's kennel in this event. Stewards issued a charge in accordance with GAR 86 (O) in that he negligently removed the greyhound (Kloss) from kennel number 6. Mr. Lindrea pleaded guilty to the charge. He was found guilty and fined the sum of $150.
