Steward's Report
Annasay and Dashing Max were quick to begin. Oz Wizard, Vladimir Rose and Cosmic Reign were slow to begin. Azure Dragon and Vladimir Rose collided on the first turn. Dashing Max and Azure Dragon collided entering the home straight. Dashing Max eased entering the home straight and collided with Azure Dragon.
Dashing Max was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Brown, the trainer of the greyhound Dashing Max regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Dashing Max with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Brown pleaded not guilty to the charge, Dashing Max was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
