Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. W.McMahon, the representative of Dr. Yuki regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dr. Yuki last raced on 7th November, 2017. Mr. McMahon stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left metacarpal injury.
Dr. Yuki was slow to begin. Sisco Dun and Joyous Jill collided soon after the start. Pancake, Sisco Dun, Joyous Jill and Annasay collided approaching the first turn. Top Shot Jack and Pancake collided on the first turn. Annasay and Misty's Boy collided on the first turn. Sisco Dun galloped on Joyous Jill in the back straight checking Sisco Dun. Annasay and Dr. Yuki collided in the back straight. Misty's Boy checked off Pancake on the home turn. Top Shot Jack and Voluptuous Ruby collided several times in the home straight.
Dr. Yuki was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind thigh injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
