Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Buchanan representative of the greyhound It Is Done regarding the racing manners approaching the winning post. Due to poor video footage, Stewards took no further action.

Chook Richards was a late scratching at 2:38pm by order of Stewards, after trainer Mr C.Newman presented the incorrect greyhound to Stewards at kennelling. Mr Newman was subsequently charged with a breach of GAR 31 (1). Mr Newman pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $250.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Calen trialled over the 450mt from box 1, weight 31.1kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.24, the greyhound  was beaten by a margin of 4.75L. Calen was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Lock, the trainer of Double Dealer regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Double Dealer last raced on 29th June 2017. Double Dealer stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a right back muscle injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Double Dealer trialled over the 450mt from box 2, weight 31.2kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.24, the greyhound won by a margin of 4.75L. Double Dealer was cleared.
