Vanderville was quick to begin.
Gotta Be Better and Perfect Hours were slow to begin.
Gotta Be Better and Perfect Hours collided soon after the start. Man Down and Clovally Mansumi collided approaching the first turn causing Trickster's Son to gallop on Man Down which fell. Clovally Mansumi and Platinum Rift collided on the first turn. It's All Bolony raced wide on the home turn. Trickster's Son raced wide entering the home straight.
Man Down was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spinal fracture and was humanely euthanased.
