A pre-race sample was taken from Delaware County.
All Inn Baz was slow to begin.
Major Riot and He's Okay collided approaching the first turn checking He's Okay. Dyna Vagrant lost ground approaching the first turn checking All Inn Baz and Delaware County. Faster Bolt and Major Riot collided on the first turn. Dyna Vagrant and He's Okay collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Major Riot raced wide in the home straight. A sample was taken from Faster Bolt, third placegetter in the event.
Dyna Vagrant was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind toe webbing. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Briffa, the representative of Dyna Vagrant regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn.
