Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Krisbar Blue Fox and a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Remo Gully was quick to begin.
Ramble Tamble checked off Not Onya Own approaching the first turn. No Fluke and Remo Gully collided approaching the first turn checking Remo Gully. Duce Royal, Swell It Is and No Fluke collided on the first turn checking Swell It Is. Not Onya Own and Swell It Is collided on the first turn checking Not Onya Own. Ramble Tamble, Krisbar Blue Fox, Remo Gully and Revved Up Dee approaching the home turn checking Ramble Tamble, Krisbar Blue Fox and Revved Up Dee. Ramble Tamble and Kriskar Blue Fox collided on the home turn. No Fluke crossed to the outside approaching the winning post. Ramble Tamble marred Remo Gully approaching the winning post.
Ramble Tamble was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left fore toes. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Osbourne, the trainer of the greyhound Ramble Tamble regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Ramble Tamble with marring. Mr. Osbourne pleaded guilty to the charge, Ramble Tamble was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
