Ramble Tamble was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left fore toes. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Osbourne, the trainer of the greyhound Ramble Tamble regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Ramble Tamble with marring. Mr. Osbourne pleaded guilty to the charge, Ramble Tamble was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Man Down was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spinal fracture and was humanely euthanased.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Doobstar trialled over the 390mt from box 1, weight 30.5kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.80, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11.5L. Doobstar was Not Cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Atlas Roughead trialled over the 390mt from box 7, weight 33.3kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.8, the greyhound won by a margin of 3.75L. Atlas Roughead was Cleared.
