Runaway Jack, Mister Blue and Dazzling Liesel were slow to begin. Super Tokachi was very slow to begin (4 lengths).
Mister Blue and Dazzling Liesel collided soon after the start checking Mister Blue. Runaway Jack checked off Dazzling Liesel approaching the first turn. Mister Blue checked off Revved Up Dee approaching the first turn. Mister Blue checked off Super Tokachi on the first turn. Runaway Jack lost ground approaching the home turn. Revved Up Dee and Rapid Mission collided on the home turn. Revved Up Dee checked off Rapid Mission in the home straight.
Mister Blue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a laceration to the right forelimb area and a spike wound to the stopper, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
