A pre-race sample was taken from Lightfoot Lass.
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Kaltsis, the trainer of Aston Halle and issued a warning regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.
Gypsy Kiowa and Aston Halle were quick to begin. Bluey Can Fly was slow to begin.
Lightfoot Lass, Bluey Can Fly and Zamazan collided approaching the first turn. Bluey Can Fly checked off Zamazan on the first turn. Bluey Can Fly and Zamazan raced wide approaching the home turn. Bluey Can Fly raced wide in the home straight.
