Steward's Report
Track Curator Mr B. Mulligan advised stewards that the track was medium harrowed on Monday 5 February 2018.
Kennels were due to open at 9:37AM in accordance with the GRV Heat Affected Meeting policy, however due to a delay in the arrival of the Club Veterinarian, kennels opened at 9:52AM.
This meeting was declared heat affected. Stewards dispensed the hot weather policy as the temperature did not exceed 26 degrees throughout the race meeting.
Misload and Doran's Flame collided soon after the start. Springinator, Mrs. Hardwicke and Poise collided soon after the start. Springinator raced wide at the 200m mark, checking Poise and Misload. Mrs. Hardwicke and Misload collided approaching the 150m mark, checking both greyhounds. Chloe Crumpet galloped on Mrs. Hardwicke approaching the 150m mark and crossed to the outside, checking Mrs. Hardwicke. Poise crossed to the rail at the 100m mark, checking Misload. Doran's Flame and Beard Com collided approaching the winning post.
