Steward's Report
Inga Ross was slow to begin.
Vixstar, Giant Jarvis, Dyna Sarah, Stevie Jane and Dyna Adria collided soon after the start, checking Giant Jarvis, Dyna Sarah and Stevie Jane. Dyna Sarah checked off Giant Jarvis approaching the first turn, checking Inga Ross. Little Fran checked off Vixstar on the first turn, checking Giant Jarvis, Stevie Jane and Dyna Adria. Vixstar checked off Dyna Sarah on the home turn.
A sample was taken from Vixstar, the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to handlers Mr Alfred Vella and Ms Carole Brinsley, about the handling of the greyhounds Dyna Sarah and Dyna Adria pre-race. The Stewards re-enforced the provisions of GAR 27 to both handlers. Given the minor nature of the incident, a caution was issued to both persons.
