Fairy Vixen and Seabrook Eb were slow to begin.
Fairy Vixen galloped on the heels of Seabrook Eb on the first turn checking Seabrook Eb and Sena Bale. Seabrook Eb and Sena Bale collided entering the back straight. Fred's My Name, Just Like Didda and Baker Street collided entering the back straight checking Just Like Didda. Baker Street faltered approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground as a result. Just Like Didda raced wide on the home turn. Fred's My Name and Sena Bale collided entering the home straight.
Baker Street was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right foreleg toe and right wrist. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.
