Emgee Sprinter was slow to begin.
Emgee Sprinter galloped on the heels of Vincent Benedict on the first turn checking Emgee Sprinter, St. Regis and Leon's Wish and severely checking Destini Lima which tailed off as a result. St. Regis raced wide on the home turn.
Destini Lima was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the neck and left triangle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
