Bandit Brad and Phillip Keeping were slow to begin. Haristotle and Mega Secret collided on the first turn checking Bandit Brad and Mega Secret.

Midnight Max trialled over 315 metres from box 8, weight 29.5kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.66 secs, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths. Midnight Max was cleared.
Satisfactory weight trial (solo):-
Wilburn trialled over 395 metres from box 5, weight 33.6kg. The time of the trial was 22.99 secs, Wilburn was cleared.
