Elle Gazelle was a late scratching at 4.59pm due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. T. Noy was fined the sum of $100.
Ms. L. Randall the trainer of Overruled declared a new weight of 30.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Overruled last raced at 31.9kg.

Vladimir Rose and Overruled were slow to begin. Bigtime Bruce and Evie Louise collided approaching the first turn checking Evie Louise. Vladimir Rose and Bigtime Bruce collided on the first turn checking Bigtime Bruce and severely checking Vladimir Rose which contacted the running rail. Evie Louise and Overruled collided on the first turn checking Overruled.
Overruled was vetted following an incident in the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
