Steward's Report
Farfalla Nera was quick to begin. Sebrof Boy was slow to begin. Why Not Loz was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Little Popcorn and Farfalla Nera collided soon after the start checking Little Popcorn. Ghostly Terrah was checked off Macreadie on the first turn checking Macreadie and Double Black and severely checking Ghostly Terrah and Farfalla Nera causing Ghostly Terrah, Little Popcorn, Farfalla Nera, Sebrof Boy and Why Not Loz to race wide. Sebrof Boy and Farfalla Nera collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds, Farfalla Nera fell as a result. Ghostly Terrah was checked off Macreadie on the home turn.
Farfalla Nera was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
A sample was taken from Double Black - winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. McMahon regarding the late kennelling of Enzo. Stewards accepted Mr. McMahon's explanation and no further action was taken.
