Kraken Head, Judge Judy and Mason's Mate collided approaching the first turn checking Mason's Mate. Madonya, Kraken Head and Way Things Are collided on the first turn checking Kraken Head and severely checking Way Things Are. Judge Judy and Shotgun Blast collided on the first turn severely checking Shotgun Blast which fell checking Mason's Mate. Mason's Mate eased approaching the home turn and raced wide causing Way Things Are to race wide. Mason's Mate and Way Things Are collided several times on the home turn. Mason's Mate marred Way Things Are in the home straight.

Shotgun Blast was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a few small abrasions to the left front and hind legs. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Jacobs, the trainer of the greyhound Mason's Mate regarding the greyhounds racing manners home turn. Mason's Mate was vetted and re-vetted following event 7.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both flexor tendons and the left pencil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Mason's Mate with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Jacobs pleaded guilty to the charge, Mason's Mate was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. R. Boehm, the trainer of Shotgun Blast regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.

Sylo, Monsoon Malabar and Ruby's Boy were slow to begin. Monsoon Malabar and Ruby's Boy collided soon after the start. Sylo, Monsoon Malabar and Ruby's Boy collided approaching the first turn. Sylo galloped on the heels of Ruby's Son on the first turn checking Sylo and Ruby's Boy. Ginny Woolf and Crymelon Annie collided on the home turn.

Ruby's Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left thigh. No stand down period was imposed.

Mrs. J. Worsfold, trainer of Cades County declared a new weight of 33.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cades County last raced at 31.8kg.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. Worsfold, the trainer of Cades County regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cades County last raced on 15th December 2017. Ms. J. Worsfold stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a change of kennels.

Tears In Eyes was slow to begin. Kamchatka Lenny and No Recourse collided soon after the start. Kamchatka Lenny, No Recourse and Liberal Nunnio collided on the first turn checking No Recouse.

Miss Fudge was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lilywhites was quick to begin. Octo Flash and Chill Out Indy collided on the first turn checking Chill Out Indy. She's Fabtastic, Octo Flash, Ryben Bill and Delaware County collided on the first turn checking Ryben Bill and Delaware County. Ruby's Rosa and Lilywhites collided approaching the second turn. Octo Flash and Delaware County collided approaching the second turn. She's Fabtastic, Octo Flash and Delaware County collided on the second turn checking Octo Flash. Ruby's Rosa faltered entering the home straight and lost ground. Octo Flash and Chill Out Indy collided entering the home straight.

Ruby's Rosa was vetted and re-vetted following event 7. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a small abrasion to left hind leg and a small abrasion on the right front toes. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Uglietta, the trainer of the greyhound Ruby's Rosa. Stewards deemed the performance of Ruby's Rosa unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Ruby's Rosa must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sassy Slyder went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (5L).

Sweet Potato and Sierra Oasis collided soon after the start. Zipping Spud, Buddy's Entity and Sierra Oasis collided approaching the first turn checking Sierra Oasis. Sweet Potato and Zipping Abbot collided approaching the first turn checking Sweet Potato. Buddy's Entity clipped the heels of Zipping Abbot entering the home straight.

Sassy Slyder was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a neck injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Stewards delayed the all clear to view all available video footage of the start of the event and deemed it was a fair start and the all clear was subsequently given.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Rythym Taboo trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 30.6kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 24.35, the greyhound  was beaten by a margin of 0.75L. Rythym Taboo was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Blue Odessa trialled over the 425mt from box 2, weight 29.6kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 24.35, the greyhound won by a margin of 0.5L. Blue Odessa was Cleared To Race In  Right side Blinker. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Chillout Julie trialled over the 425mt from box 3, weight 25.8kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 24.35, the greyhound  was beaten by a margin of 0.5L. Chillout Julie was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Beksun trialled over the 425mt from box 5, weight 29.9kg, the greyhound was placed 6 in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 24.35, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9.5L. Beksun was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Piper's Unicorn trialled over the 425mt from box 7, weight 31.6kg, the greyhound was placed 5th in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 24.35, the greyhound  was beaten by a margin of 8L. Piper's Unicorn was cleared. 

Satisfactory Trial Results - Lochinvar Rox, over the 425mt from box 8, weight 30.6kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 24.35, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2L. Lochinvar Rox was cleared.
