Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Von Costa Kahn.
Distributor and King Gibbo were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Distributor. King Gibbo galloped on Von Costa Kahn approaching the 200m mark, causing King Gibbo to stumble and lose ground. Von Costa Kahn and Distributor collided approaching the winning post.
King Gibbo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pectoral (chest) muscle, and a spike wound and bruising to the right shoulder and front leg. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
