Elle's Toy, Pat Malone and Foxy Molly were quick to begin. Be Like Bill, Bees On Fire and Shield Of Dreams were slow to begin. Double Explosion and Dyna Worker collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Worker. Bees On Fire and Be Like Bill collided on the first turn checking Be Like Bill. Shield Of Dreams raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Dyna Worker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left front toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
