Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Lucy Gem.
Amlin Teddy, Blue Tornado, Brindle Delight, Tommy Boy, Greg's Prince and Jetyra Buckskin collided soon after the start checking Tommy Boy. Blue Tornado, Brindle Delight, Greg's Prince and Jetyra Buckskin colided on the first turn checking Brindle Delight and causing Blue Tornado to fall, checking Tommy Boy as a result. Tommy Boy checked off Brindle Delight approaching the home turn.
Blue Tornado was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have soreness in the left pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Ragadeen - the winner of the event.
