Alamo Mike galloped on Just Love on the first turn; Alamo Mike lost ground as a result. Rare Gem, Bye Bye Brad, Macalister Tiger, Manarola and Rockin' Bar Lil collided on the first turn checking Rare Gem and Bye Bye Brad and severely checking Macalister Tiger. Manarola contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Rare Gem and Manarola collided approaching the home turn.
