Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr J.Collins representative of Zipping Maisy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Zipping Maisy last raced on 17 January 2018. Mr Collins stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an injury to the right hip support muscle.
Kouta And Cream and Azalea were quick to begin. Zipping Maisy, Mepunga Bonnie and Explosive Fox collided soon after the start. Emerald Rainbow and Ima Ruby collided approaching the first turn. Lektra Blicavs and Zipping Maisy collided approaching the first turn, checking Lektra Blicavs. Emerald Rainbow and Ima Ruby collided on the first turn, checking Ima Ruby. Kouta And Cream was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramp, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr H. Wilkinson, the representative of the greyhound Kouta And Cream. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
