Steward's Report
Tegz A Riddler was quick to begin.
Daryl Dixon and Atlas Roughead were slow to begin.
Cyrus Rumble, Knock About and Right Said Frank collided approaching the first turn checking Knock About. Atlas Roughead and Senorita Pepe collided approaching the home turn checking Senorita Pepe. Cyrus Rumble and Knock About collided entering the home straight. Atlas Roughead raced wide in the home straight.
Meeting Comments:-
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Elson, the trainer of Grixis regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Grixis last raced on 5th June 2016. Mr. Elson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from an extended spell. Gixis trialled over the 390mt from box 3, weight 28.2kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.15, the greyhound beaten by a margin of 13.75. Grixis was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial :- Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Clark, the trainer of Set Point regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Set Point last raced on 25th February 2017. Mr. Clark stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from a right back muscle injury. Set Point trialled over the 390mt from box 8, weight 34.5kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.15, the greyhound won by a margin of 7L. Set Point was cleared.
