Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Glenn Dainton, the trainer of Black Impala, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Black Impala last raced on 10 January 2018. Mr Dainton stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a metacarpal injury.
Pattaya Paul was quick to begin. Xtreme Purpose and Stir Fry Shrimp collided soon after the start. Merry Magic, Xtreme Purpose and Dewana Express collided on the first turn. Stir Fry Shrimp and Federal Agent collided on the first turn. Xtreme Purpose checked off Dewana Express approaching the second turn.
Samples were taken from the placegetters - Black Impala (1st) and Ziggy Punter (2nd).
Due to technical issues, the incorrect numbers were momentarily semaphored post-race. These were amended to the correct placings/order, prior to the All Clear being given.
