A pre-race sample was taken from Unmid Bale.

Isen Allen and Mia Brae collided soon after the start. Dyna Nancy and Don Lesta collided on the first turn checking Dyna Nancy. Bolton Blue and Don Lesta collided entering the home straight. Don Lesta checked off Bolton Blue approaching the winning post.
