The start time for this event was rescheduled to 10:48pm.
Sleater was slow to begin. Blackpool Doc, Magic Vogue and Awesome Shep collided approaching the first turn checking Magic Vogue, Lektra Blicavs and Ikon Parker and severely checking Kate's Boy. Awesome Shep and Lektra Blicavs collided entering the home straight. Magic Vogue raced wide in the home straight.
Kate's Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right sartorius muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
