Come Home was slow to begin.

Come Home and Clovalley Arnie collided soon after the start checking Clovalley Arnie. Jello Allen and Foxy Molly collided several times approaching the first turn. Disco Lemonade checked off Come Home approaching the first turn severely checking Come Home and My Name's George. Clovalley Arnie and My Name's George collided approaching the home turn. Jello Allen crossed to the outside on the home turn checking Foxy Molly and Come Home.

Damaging Lomar was a late scratching at 1.37pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a left monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ultron was very slow to begin (3L).

Pepper Shannon, Semantic Shift and Buy Me Diamonds collided soon after the start checking Semantic Shift and Buy Me Diamonds. Pocket Dial and Buy Me Diamonds collided approaching the first turn severely checking Pocket Dial. Ultron and Pepper Shannon collided approaching the first turn checking Pepper Shannon.

Stewards noted that Ultron fell on pulling up approaching the catching pen.

Ultron was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left ulna/radius and was humanely euthanased.

Mr. J. Martin was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Gunai Gossip pursuant to GAR 33.

Cobber Victorem was quick to begin.

Railway Burra and Pure White Evil collided soon after the start checking Railway Burra. Pure White Evil, Gunai Gossip and Pesian Oasis collided approaching the first turn. Railway Burra checked off Tat Scooby approaching the first turn checking Railway Burra. Stewards spoke to Mr G.Gledhill, the trainer of Ido Voodoo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ido Voodoo last raced on 30 November, 2017. Mr Gledhill stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after injuries to left and right back muscles.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Stefanos, the trainer of Mowgli regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Mowgli last raced on 29th December 2017. Mr. Stefanos stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from an extended spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Mowgli trialled over the 450mt from box 6, weight 35.8kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.25, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9L. Mowgli was cleared.

Satisfactory Weight Trial  - Flying Mia trialled over the 390mts from box 4, weight 28.8kg. The time of the trial was 22.35, Flying Mia was cleared.
