A pre-race sample was taken from Deadline.
Oshkosh Jay was quick to begin.
Deadline, Trademark Rocky, Tiza Fabio and Dyna Harpa collided soon after the start. Loch Tight, Teflon Travis and Deadline collided approaching the first turn. Trademark Rocky and Dyna Harpa collided on the first turn. Dyna Harpa brushed the running rail on the home turn.
Dyna Harpa was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left stifle and a spike wound to the right fourth toe. A three-day stand down period was imposed.
