Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Wilkinson, the trainer of Japika Gold regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Japika Gold last raced on 10th November 2017. Mr. Wilkinson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from being seasonal.

Bolton Blue and Stolen collided several times from soon after the start to the first turn. Powerful Lomar, Mint Boy and Kiss Me Boss collided approaching the first turn checking Bolton Blue and Bumble Bee Bolto and severely checking Mint Boy.

Mint Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left fore shin soreness. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Oshkosh Jay was quick to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Dunium, the trainer of Wai Lin regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Wai Lin last raced on 20th December 2017. Mr. Dunium stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from being seasonal.

Burn Like Fire was quick to begin.

Southwood Bill was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and left deltoid muscle. A stand dowm period of 28 days was imposed.
