Steward's Report
Dr. Lola was slow to begin. Siamese Dream and Big Butterbean collided soon after the start checking Big Butterbean. Honeysuckle Jim, Annasay and Siamese Dream collided approaching the first turn checking Annasay. Josie Rose crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Avalon Sisco. Big Butterbean was checked off Annasay on the first turn and again approaching the second turn causing Dr. Lola to race wide. Honeysuckle Jim was checked off Avalon Sisco on the second turn and again approaching the third turn. Annasay was checked off Avalon Sisco on the third turn. Big Butterbean tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Big Butterbean was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Galea regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Avalon Sisco. Stewards directed that Avalon Sisco be boxed first in future events.
