A pre-race sample was taken from Cash Or Card.
Smashing Wild was slow to begin. Maximum Jarvis and Cash Or Card collided on the first turn checking Cash Or Card. Cash Or Card and Miss Twerker collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.
Miss Twerker was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Following the event, Cash Or Card collapsed in the catching pen. As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhounds displayed clinical signs of Ataxia / Hypermetria. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Tyley, the trainer of Cash Or Card and advised her that the greyhound would be closly monitored in future events.
