Superior Martini and Libby's Dream collided at the 200m mark, severely checking Libby's Dream which lost ground as a result. Under The Doona and Macreadie collided approaching the 150m mark. Coyote, Under The Doona and Macreadie collided at the 150m mark. Under The Doona and Eaglehawk Miss collided from the 50m mark to the winning post.
Under The Doona was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the sacro-iliac region. A seven-day stand down period was imposed.
