Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) starter, Mrs. M. Groom did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Subconscious and Little Dynamo collided approaching the first turn. Ring London and Winlock Hadley collided on the first turn, checking Winlock Hadley. Subconscious and Little Dynamo collided on the first turn, severely checking Little Dynamo. Rhino Rex, Proven Snow and Fierce Lomar collided on the first turn, checking Proven Snow and Fierce Lomar. Ring London and Lady Simmeron collided on the home turn. Fierce Lomar and Ring London collided in the home straight. Fierce Lomar failed to pursue the lure with due commitment in the home straight. Fierce Lomar, Ring London and Lady Simmeron collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Ms. T. Auld, the trainer of the greyhound Fierce Lomar regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Fierce Lomar was vetted and revetted following event 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both wrists, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Fierce Lomar with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Auld pleaded guilty to the charge, Fierce Lomar was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
