Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Sullivan, trainer of Tijuana Icon regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Yijuana Icon last raced on 11th of September 2017. Ms Sullivan stated that the greyhound was resuming after being spelled.
Tijuana Icon and Hammer Head collided on the first turn, checking Hammer Head. Trickster's Son, Cool Boots, Hillbilly Bubba and Atlas Roughead collided on the first turn, checking Hillbilly Bubba. Trickster's Son, Cool Boots and Atlas Roughead collided on the home turn, causing Trickster's Son to race wide. Cool Boots, Atlas Roughead and Hillbilly Bubba collided on the home turn, checking Atlas Roughead. Atlas Roughead raced wide in the home straight.
Atlas Roughead was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right groin, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
