Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Kiss Me Putu, a post race sample was subsequently taken.
Why Not Lola was quick to begin. Voluptuous Cleo, En Cockatoo, Mercy Percy and Gracie's Colour were slow to begin. En Cockatoo and Voluptuous Cleo collided soon after the start. Violet Sky clipped the heels of Why Not Lola soon after the start and stumbled. Voluptuous Cleo was checked off En Cockatoo approaching the first turn. En Cockatoo and Mercy Percy collided on the home turn. Gracie's Colour and Spruce Moose collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. En Cockatoo and Mercy Percy collided in the home straight. Violet Sky and Why Not Lola collided approaching the winning post.
Gracie's Colour was vetted and a sample taken after the greyhound performed below market expectations. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
