Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr D Murray, the Trainer of Champion Exhibit, regardng the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Champion Exhibit last raced at Ballarat on 24 May, 2017. Mr. Murray stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following the removal of a tendon to the right front foot. Mr Murray also declared a new weight of 35.5 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Champion Exhibit last raced at a weight of 34.4 kgs.
Our Real Deal was slow to begin. Champion Exhibit and Tobias Kelton collided soon after the start. Our Real Deal, Leave Me Out and Reckoning collided several times approaching the 300m mark, checking Reckoning. Our Real Deal and Leave Me Out collided at the 300m mark.
