Vens Revenge and Newfire Drewie collided approaching the first turn. Vens Revenge, Newfire Drewie and Bliehawk Ralph collided on the first turn checking Vens Revenge which raced wide and severely checked Newfire Drewie and Bluehawk Ralph; Newfire Drewie fell as a result.
Newfire Drewie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained and injury to its right triangle and bruising/contusion to its right elbow and right tibia. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
