Steward's Report
Dr. Zeeva, Dashin Dayz, Jack's On Deck and Aston Ando were quick to begin. Hurricane Ben was slow to begin. Zoobie, Dr. Zeeva and Dashin Dayz collided on the first turn checking Dashin Dayz and Banjo Braxton. Hurricane Ben was checked off Banjo Braxton on the second turn. Jack's On Deck and Aston Ando collided on the home turn. Zoobie and Jack's On Deck collided entering the home straight checking Jack's On Deck and Aston Ando.
Banjo Braxton was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Hurricane Ben was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 4, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. V. Sultana the trainer of the greyhound Hurricane Ben. Stewards deemed the performance of Hurricane Ben unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Hurricane Ben must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
